Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very popular. Her family was home-schooled by her mom in the USA. Her childhood was filled with racist remarks and being made to feel unwelcome. In the ninth grade, after a school audition, where she received praises for her voice as she built confidence. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition however, she also re-evaluate her plans for her career. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both major breakthroughs. The most notable accomplishment of her career occurred in the role of The Lady of The Lake on Spamalot's original Broadway production. She did not only get the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by critics. The following year, she was cast as the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. In addition to having a cult following as a singer, she has released two solo albums and a longer piece. She's also an activist who is a tireless advocate for LGBT rights.
