David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. The dramatic footage on video and its animated gestures make it the most watched American newscast. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to the appointment of anchor of ABC World News Tonight Sawyer was Sawyer's primary successor. He was a reporter on a variety of evening ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He's been to a variety of locations around the globe reporting the latest news. The locations include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors given by the Associated Press.
