Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy Kolber is now at 58. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She graduated in 1982 from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. Then she graduated from University of Miami in 1986. University of Miami in 1986 with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications. She landed a job as the sports director at Dynamic Cable located in Coral Gables Florida while she was a first-year college student. Additionally, she worked for Dynamic Cable during two years between 1984 till 1986. She joined the team of water skiers at The University of Miami. When she was a teenager, Plaza was a part of local theatres in Wilmington acting performing improv as well as directing one-act theatre. Her move to New York City after high school to study the production of television and film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in comedy with The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She was diagnosed with aphasia around 20 years old, a short-term issue that impacts the capacity to speak and understand languages.
